I believe in letting children be children.
My photography brings together a natural, observational approach to storytelling and a background in fashion photography. Light, composition and thoughtful styling shape the images, while your child’s personality gives them life.
I have a calm, gentle approach, giving children time to feel comfortable and follow their own curiosity. Rather than asking them to perform for the camera, I create situations where they can play, explore and become absorbed in what they’re doing. So being photographed slips into the background, I observe the small gestures, expressions, connections that tell their story whilst looking for the perfect portrait.
To make this happen we choose a setting that invites your child to be themselves. This might be a favourite place outdoors, the familiar surroundings of your home or somewhere new to explore. A few simple details can open up a world of imagination; sometimes all we need is beautiful light and room to play. Maybe a favourite toy or two.
Together, we’ll create portraits that feel natural and timeless and truly capture the magic of their childhood.

THE PROCESS
Before the shoot, I’ll send you an online questionnaire to get to know your child(ren): what they love, where they feel at ease and what captures their imagination. You can also share the photographs you’re drawn to and any ideas you have. Your answers will help me plan the location, clothing and activities around your family.
On the day, I’ll arrive around half an hour early to prepare, allowing time to settle in without rushing. My approach is calm and gentle, with space for your child(ren) to play, explore and become absorbed in what they’re doing. We’ll follow their pace, letting the story unfold naturally.
Afterwards, I’ll share a private online gallery where you can choose your favourite photographs for retouching. I can also help you select prints for your walls, a beautifully made album or a coffee table book, giving your family’s stories a lasting place in your home.
